The 2011 New Canaan July 4th "Family Fourth" celebration will be held at Waveny Park on Monday July 4th, 2011. The rain date is Tuesday July 5th.
This a New Canaan event that can not be missed. You will enjoy fantastic fireworks. Don't forget to bring a picnic dinner!
Park will open at 5 pm. Enter through the main gate on South Avenue. Lapham Road will be closed to all traffic. Entry passes must be displayed on your car's windshield. Pedestrians should enter the park from the high school area. Parking is not permitted on the roads adjacent to the park.
Most New Canaan residents should have received the "official" invite (and ticket form) in the mail. However, you can also buy a pass online at the town website or at the Rec Dept at Waveny House.
